Basic toilet training for puppies

There are lots of things you can do when your dog is a puppy to ensure that he or she pees and poohs in the right place. Praise and rewards are the most important aspects of toilet training puppies. And it will help them learn more quickly. Spend as much time as you can with your puppy, getting him or her acquainted to their toilet area – a specially prepared place (that’s also private) in the backyard is ideal. If your dog spends most of his or her time indoors, make sure access is easy (via a doggie door) and encourage them towards their new toilet frequently.
